Peter the Great Haiku #3

If traveling through

West incognito, don’t be

Two-meter giant.

Peter the Great was born 346 years ago today and then proceeded to provide me with an endless amount of material. Some of this material comes from his Grand Embassy, where he traveled for 18 months around Europe with a whole mess of people to learn things, recruit allies, and recruit people who knew shit to come and work in Russia. He was two meters tall, in 18th century Europe. Count how many people were fooled.
