Soldiers die less if

Nurses exist, wash their hands.

Who’da fucking thought.

It also helps if wounded men aren’t left to wallow in their own filth. Who was on that? Our gal Florence, who incidentally, turns 198 today.

I suggest you celebrate by a) washing your damned hands, and b) taking a moment to appreciate nurses and all the important, emotionally and physically draining, and often really gross work they do. Hats off.
