Taipei Haiku #52

What treasures to find!

Artifacts of bygone times.

Your car keys too, probs.

You think you left them on the nightstand. You were wrong. They are here. Probably Jimmy Hoffa’s body too.

I have been charged by my mother to find a fabric market (such as the giant one in Seoul she refers to as her ‘magic heaven place’) and antique / secondhand shops, because if she’s going to drag my mutt here in September, I’d better make it worth her while. I think I’ve succeeded at the first; I just have to find enough of the second to please her. I think I’ve made a start.
