Taipei Haiku #41

Korea’s message

In the world’s darkest hour –

“Fighting!” Violent cheer.

‘Fighting!’ is hands-down my favorite Konglish expression. It is now a permanent part of my vocabulary and I am not ashamed of this fact. It’s meaning is ‘cheer up’, but I think it sounds way more hardcore than that.

Meanwhile, having established a foothold via k-dramas, Korea has continued their infiltration of Taiwanese society. More on this story as it develops.
