Taipei Haiku #36

Pedestrians, right?

Smugly using ‘green’ crosswalks

Honk and cut them off

It is a green light. (Wonderful! You’ve waited so long for this moment!) This likely means that the corresponding crosswalk also has a green light, for pedestrians. Should you a) exercise caution when turning the corner, or b) zip your car to the right, cut off the pedestrian attempting to cross, slow down in front of her to honk in a drawn out fashion at her, then carry on into the night?

‘B’, apparently. Reader, I kicked the car.
